The gift of love given
us in the Passion of Jesus is often forgotten. In spirit we seek to
join the small company of the faithful who kept vigil with Jesus in His
suffering. We desire to respond to the will of the Father by seeking
holiness of life through the charity of unceasing prayer for the world,
in union with Jesus Crucified.
Our life is guided by the Rule of St. Benedict. The
contemplative spirituality of the community is expressed in Saint
Therese’s Oblation to Merciful Love, and in the journals of
Blessed Rafael, a Trappist monk. We are a new community in formation
under the guidance of the Archdiocese
of Atlanta. The Little Ones of Jesus Crucified was established as a
community of persons
aspiring to a life of vowed celibacy, and for couples in the vows of
the Sacrament of
Matrimony. We also have extern members who reside in their own homes,
participate in the spiritual charism, and are active in the life of the
Dwelling. |
